        MEASURES READ THE FIRST TIME--S. 3030, S. 3031, S. 3032

Mr. THUNE. Mr. President, I understand that there are three bills at
the desk and I ask for their first reading en bloc.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will read the bills by title for the
first time.
The legislative clerk read as follows:

A bill (S. 3030) making continuing appropriations for
military pay in the event of a Government shutdown, and for
     other purposes.
A bill (S. 3031) making continuing appropriations for
essential Federal Aviation Administration and Transportation
Security Administration pay and operations in the event of a
Federal Government shutdown, and for other purposes.
A bill (S. 3032) to extend the authority for the
protections of certain facilities and assets from unmanned
     aircraft.

Mr. THUNE. Mr. President, I now ask for a second reading, and I
object to my own request, all en bloc.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. Objection is heard. The bills will be read for
the second time on the next legislative day.
