Program for Tuesday: Senate will resume consideration of the nomination
of Steven Bradbury, of Virginia, to be Deputy Secretary of
Transportation, and vote on the motion to invoke cloture thereon at
11:45 a.m. If cloture is invoked on the nomination, Senate will vote on
confirmation of the nomination at 2:15 p.m.
Following disposition of the nomination of Steven Bradbury, Senate
will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Abigail
Slater, of the District of Columbia, to be an Assistant Attorney
General. If cloture is invoked on the nomination, Senate will vote on
confirmation of the nomination at 5:15 p.m.
(Senate will recess following the vote on the motion to invoke
cloture on the nomination of Steven Bradbury until 2:15 p.m. for their
respective party conferences.)
