                        MESSAGES FROM THE HOUSE

  At 11:40 a.m., a message from the House of Representatives, delivered 
by Mr. Novotny, one of its reading clerks, announced that the House has 
passed the following bills, in which it requests the concurrence of the 
Senate:

       H.R. 1005. An act to amend title 38, United States Code, to 
     improve the provision of adult day health care services for 
     veterans.

       H.R. 1162. An act to direct the Secretary of Veterans 
     Affairs to carry out a pilot program to provide access to 
     magnetic EEG/EKG-guided resonance therapy to veterans.
       H.R. 1329. An act to increase, effective as of December 1, 
     2017, the rates of compensation for veterans with service-
     connected disabilities and the rates of dependency and 
     indemnity compensation for the survivors of certain disabled 
     veterans, and for other purposes.
       H.R. 1370. An act to amend the Homeland Security Act of 
     2002 to require the Secretary of Homeland Security to issue 
     Department of Homeland Security-wide guidance and develop 
     training programs as part of the Department of Homeland 
     Security Blue Campaign, and for other purposes.
       H.R. 1545. An act to amend title 38, United States Code, to 
     clarify the authority of the Secretary of the Veterans 
     Affairs to disclose certain patient information to State 
     controlled substance monitoring programs, and for other 
     purposes.
       H.R. 1725. An act to direct the Secretary of Veterans 
     Affairs to submit certain reports relating to medical 
     evidence submitted in support of claims for benefits under 
     the laws administered by the Secretary.
       H.R. 1808. An act to amend and improve the Missing 
     Children's Assistance Act, and for other purposes.
       H.R. 1809. An act to reauthorize and improve the Juvenile 
     Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974, and for other 
     purposes.
       H.R. 2288. An act to amend title 38, United States Code, to 
     reform the rights and processes relating to appeals of 
     decisions regarding claims for benefits under the laws 
     administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, and for 
     other purposes.
       H.R. 2473. An act to direct the Attorney General to study 
     issues relating to human trafficking, and for other purposes.

  The message also announced that the House agrees to the amendments of 
the Senate to the bill (H.R. 366) to amend the Homeland Security Act of 
2002 to direct the Under Secretary for Management of the Department of 
Homeland Security to make certain improvements in managing the 
Department's vehicle fleet, and for other purposes.
