NOMINATION OF MADELYN R. CREEDON TO BE PRINCIPAL DEPUTY ADMINISTRATOR, 
                NATIONAL NUCLEAR SECURITY ADMINISTRATION

  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Under the previous order, the Senate will 
proceed to executive session to consider the following nominations, 
which the clerk will report.
  The assistant legislative clerk read as follows:

       Nominations of Julia Akins Clark, of Maryland, to be 
     General Counsel of the Federal Labor Relations Authority, 
     Andrew H. Schapiro, of Illinois, to be Ambassador 
     Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of 
     America to the Czech Republic, and Madelyn R. Creedon, of 
     Indiana, to be Principal Deputy Administrator, National 
     Nuclear Security Administration.


                        Vote on Clark Nomination

  The PRESIDING OFFICER. There will now be 2 minutes of debate prior to 
the vote on the Clark nomination.

  The question is, Will the Senate advise and consent to the nomination
