           COMMENDING PRESIDENT PERVEZ MUSHARRAF OF PAKISTAN

  Mr. REID. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Senate 
proceed to S. Con. Res. 96 submitted earlier today by Senators 
Brownback and Wellstone.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the concurrent 
resolution by title.
  The assistant legislative clerk read as follows:

       A concurrent resolution (S. Con. Res. 96) commending 
     President Pervez Musharraf of Pakistan for his leadership and 
     friendship and welcoming him to the United States.

  There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the 
concurrent resolution.
  Mr. REID. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the concurrent 
resolution and preamble be agreed to en bloc, the motion to reconsider 
be laid on the table, and that any statements thereon be printed in the 
Record with no intervening action or debate.
