  At the request of Mrs. Hutchison, the name of the Senator from Ohio 
(Mr. DeWine) was added as a cosponsor of S. 839, a bill to amend title 
XVIII of the Social Security Act to increase the amount of payment for 
inpatient hospital services under the medicare program and to freeze 
the reduction in payments to hospitals for indirect costs of medical 
education.

  At the request of Mrs. Hutchison, the name of the Senator from South 
Carolina (Mr. Hollings) was added as a cosponsor of S. 1009, a bill to 
require the provision of information to parents and adults concerning 
bacterial meningitis and the availability of a vaccination with respect 
to such diseases.

  At the request of Mr. Breaux, the name of the Senator from Arkansas 
(Mrs. Lincoln) was added as a cosponsor of S. 1220, a bill to authorize 
the Secretary of Transportation to establish a grant program for the

Social Security Act to specify the update for payments under the 
medicare physician fee schedule for 2002 and to direct the Medicare 
Payment Advisory Commission to conduct a study on replacing the use of 
the sustainable growth rate as a factor in determining such update in 
subsequent years.

cosponsors of S. 1749, a bill to enhance the border security of the

technical corrections to the HAZMAT provisions of the USA PATRIOT Act.

(Mr. Feingold) was added as a cosponsor of S. 1782, a bill to authorize 
the burial in Arlington National Cemetery of any former Reservist who 
died in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and would have been 
eligible for burial in Arlington National Cemetery but for age at time 
of death.

Akaka) was added as a cosponsor of S. 1819, a bill to provide that 
members of the Armed Forces performing services in the Republic of 
Korea shall be entitled to tax benefits in same manner as if such 
services were performed in a combat zone, and for other purposes.

California (Mrs. Boxer) was added as a cosponsor of S. Res. 182, a 
resolution expressing the sense of the Senate that the United States 
should allocate significantly more resources to combat global poverty.

  At the request of Mr. Biden, the name of the Senator from Oklahoma 
(Mr. Inhofe) was added as a cosponsor of S. Con. Res. 88, a concurrent 
resolution expressing solidarity with Israel in the fight against
