                ORDERS FOR WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 1997

  Mr. CRAIG. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that when the 
Senate completes its business today it stand in adjournment until the 
hour of 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 12. I ask unanimous consent 
that on Wednesday immediately following the prayer, the routine 
requests through the morning hour be granted. I further ask unanimous 
consent that there be a period of morning business until the hour of 11 
a.m., with the following Senators to speak during the designated time: 
From 9:30 until 10, Senator Ashcroft for 15 minutes and Senator Dorgan 
for 15 minutes; from 10 to 10:30, Senator Daschle or his designee; from 
10:30 to 11 o'clock, Senator Thomas or his designee.
  I further ask unanimous consent that at 11 a.m., the Senate resume 
consideration of Senate Joint Resolution 1 and Senator Byrd be 
recognized at that time.
